Govetts Creek
Leaving Evans LO carpark, the Horse Track is an excellent descent down the Govetts Creek. From there turn right (ignoring all signage to the contrary) and easily follow the little used track upstream for 400m. There is an impossible (for me) to detect turnoff to the left when the track heads away from Goveets Ck and up towards Rodriguez Pass. This track soon descends to Greaves Creek where it is easy to cross.
A better route was found on the return leg.

The pleasant campsite on the banks of the Grose. Quite possibly Syncarpia Campsite.

Crossing the Greaves Creek is straightforward, even after a bit of rain. This crossing is too far upstream - the ensuing 300m bushbash on the South bank was more difficult than necessary.

The lower end of the Blackwall Glen.

The damp weather encouraged a few fungii

Edenderry Falls flowing well.

Unnamed Falls 300m upstream

More pleasant falls - much of the Creek was similar to this.

Hilary Falls from below - the spray soaked the rocks.

Hilary Falls from above.

Looking downstream from my Lunch Spot. The faint (canyoners) track followed within 20m of the creek (and 5-15m vertically) at all times. However, the 20m wall on the left bank forced it to climb high above it, and also very close to the edge in places.

Rock Orchids close to the track, which stayed exclusively on the true left bank. There was very little opportunity to cross the creek anywhere.

Back to the upper end of the Blackwall Glen.

The lower Greaves Ck crossing was also easy. After crossing, there’s no track for 100m to the NW until reaching the main track back down the the bottom of the HorseTrack.
